Skeva skivor, kärvande kolvar i bromsoket och slitna klossar är klassiska orsaker till att frambromsen på en 240/260 drar snett eller vibrerar i ratten. Vilka delar som passar styrs helt av fabrikat och utförande: Girling och ATE har olika ok och tätningar, och ventilerade skivor sitter inte med samma fästen som de ej ventilerade.
